For: Lock 2, Allegheny River, Mile 6.7 - 15 Day Lock Closure
Description: Notice is given that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Repair Fleet will close the single 56' x 360' lock chamber at Lock 2, Allegheny River to repair the lock gates and upper miter sill. The repair work is scheduled to begin 12:01 AM on September 13, 2010 and will be completed by 11:00 PM on September 27, 2010. The single 56' x 360' lock chamber will be closed to river traffic during the scheduled work period. No traffic will pass through this lock during the work period. Normal wear and deterioration have made it necessary to schedule this work.
