Boating, Steelers and Nachos: Does It Get Any Better?

 Although summer is coming to a close, we do have one bright spot left in the boating season: the Steelers home opener. Boats have been on the North Shore since this past weekend preparing for one of the best boat-tailgating parties of the summer.
The staff at BoatPittsburgh.com would like to remind all boaters to stop by the BoatPittsburgh tent and join in the fun. While DJ Ryan Rable is getting the crowd ready for the game with some great music we will be giving away black and gold koozies and playing a few rounds of cornhole.
While you're there, don’t forget to enter the Nacho Cook-off Sunday morning. In addition to a BoatPittsburgh.com prize pack, our friends from McFadden’s, Rivertowne, Tilted Kilt and Bettis’ 36 Grille have all donated great prizes for the winners.
 The rules for the cook-off are pretty simple, but please be aware there were some minor changes since the last publishing:
1. You must sign-in at the BoatPittsburgh.com tent and pick-up your official 9x13 pan. Sign ups start at 9:30.
2. Nachos must consist of at least tortilla chips and some form of cheese. Any other ingredients are allowed and encouraged!
3. All entries must be brought back the tent by 11:30 pm for the official judging.
4. A panel of 3-5 judges will determine the winner.
5. Nachos will be judged equally on taste, presentation, and originality
Once game time comes around feel free to hang out at the BoatPittsburgh.com tent and watch it with us or you can always head up to one of the bars along overlooking the river for a view of the game and the water!
After the game we will be dancing to more tunes spun by DJ Ryan while we celebrate a victory over the Seahawks.
