North Shore Docking Restrictions In Place Sept. 3rd

 Please be advised that a full river closure from Allegheny River MM 0.0-0.3 (The Point to the Ft. Duquesne Bridge) will be in effect for the “Light the River” Fireworks display following the Pitt Football Game on September 3rd.
According to Chief Petty Officer Chris Blank of the U.S. Coast Guard, all vessels including those docked at the North Shore in front of Heinz Field must leave the Safety Zone by 8:30 PM and they may not return until the river closure is lifted by the Coast Guard Command at approximately 10:30 PM.
