Steeler "Boatgating" Season Off to Great Start

 The annual BoatPittsburgh.com Steelers Kick-off Party was a great success once again. The “boatgating” started with 10 great entries in the Nacho Cook-off. BoatPittsburgh.com was proud to welcome a Pittsburgh icon to serve on the judge’s panel. WDVE morning show host Jim Krenn stopped by to pick his favorite nacho creation while he was filming an episode of his short video RAW. Congrats to the winners that took home great gift certificates to McFadden’s, Tilted Kilt, Rivertowne and Bettis Grille.
The remainder of the sun-splashed day was enjoyed by all as everyone in attendance watched the Steelers beat the Seahawks 24-0 on the two flat screen TV’s set up out side the BoatPittsburgh houseboat. The party didn’t stop after the game as boaters gathered for several more hours to celebrate the win.
Although BoatPittsburgh.com won’t be hosting any more official “boatgating” parties this season, stop and see us if you are at the game as we are usually at the North Shore for home games enjoying the final days of the boating season.
