1980 vip 17.5ft chevy 305 used to dock at mckees point, now trailer it around

I wish I could go out, my boat is at Greg Nelis's place getting a cockpit cover made.

I'm no mechanic, but there is a neutral safety switch that cuts the engine when you go from forward to reverse. Maybe that's the problem. Fox Chapel Marine has some of the better mechanics in the area, but they're expensive. Also, Outboard HAven in Verona usually does a decnt job.

Hi, I do not know personally.. but you can try Pittsburgh Performance Watercraft in Cheswick/Springdale area. Also, if you ask that question out in the main forums, under General Boat Maitenance or Personal Water Craft sections I'm sure you'll get more replies.
