    Default Recovering V-Berth Cushion

We are looking to recover our v-berth cushion inside our boat. Anyone have any
ideas where to get fabric to do this...and what kind of fabric would be the best?
I thought maybe a stain and mildew resistant, but I am having trouble finding
    it.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks!!

Jo-Ann Fabric (or possibly other fabric stores) typically has marine vinyl in a few colors.
I am sure you can also contact an upholstery place and they could order some for you, but you may have to pay for the entire roll.

Hi! I am also recovering the V berth cushions on my boat... Here are the things I have found out so far... If you plan to SLEEP on your cushions... be careful that the fabric you use will not make you sweat during those warm summer nights. I am going with a cotton fabric - pre shrunk -- so my kids are comfortable. If you are not going to sleep on the cushions and will use the V berth as your dinnette area, I would then go with sunbrella or another weather resistant material. I found a great discount fabric place on the internet where I could buy fabric I found at a chain store (mentioned above) and used the identification numbers to order. the price was lower and I could afford to re-do more items and toss in a few pillows.

Whatever your choice -- have fun --and, if you have any other tips to add, please pass them along.
