More Concert Fun!

Chicago May 24th, Elvis Costello June 16th, Ribs on the River June 17th to June19th( Bands TBD), Big and Rich/Gretchen Wilson July 22nd at the Trib Total Media Amp. I'm digging the line-up so far.

If only the city made it easy for us to enjoy them....its gonna be a great concert season...hopefully they wont all get ruined like Chesney...

Now this Stage AE, are you able to see/hear the concerts there from the river?

We were wonding/pondering that as well Sat.

For the first time, we saw the completed building and it's layout, which doesn't seem very friendly to hear.

It looks like the "outdoor" part will open towards Heinz field. The band can be set up behind the big doors and only speakers projecting toward the stadium.

With the grass hill being pretty high above the water, I am going to guess it will be very difficult to hear. But no personal experience.

Now this Stage AE, are you able to see/hear the concerts there from the river?

I was out yesterday, they were playing music at Stage AE and you can hear it as if you are in the concert. I was amazed at how well you could hear it since you can't hear anything from heinz field. As I rode up the river I had my stereo on very loud and the hammer down and could still hear the music from stage AE over all the noise. Concerts there are going to be the best for boatgating.
