Hard to start

I have a 2007 bayliner alpha one 3.0......When the engine is cold it starts right up and idles great and it ran great on mothers day bI took it out it was a little chilly.
Like last year, when it is hot, seems hard to start like its loading up. also idles a little
rough....any suggestions would be well appreciated on what to check or do.
Boat has only less than 50 hrs on it....thanks

EFI or carb engine? If carb maybe the choke is sticking, or carb needs a overhaul.
