When I key up my microphone on the marine radio it blows the fuse. I changed up to a 3 amp fuse but after a three second test count it blew again. Is the problem the radio?
Is 3amp the correct size for the fuse? Sounds a bit low to me...
I don't know, There was a 1 amp fuse in and I upped it to the 3 amp. I have no idea what amp fuse it should be.
It could be the mic itself that has a short. If your microphone can be unscrewed from the radio you could try one from a different radio.
