Gel Coat--- How tough is it?

Ok, about that time of the year. I want to pull her out and use that secret mix of toilet bowl cleaner and peroxide.

How tough is gel coat? I would like to use a deck brush that has pretty stiff and coarse bristles. I don't want to scratch my finish, but rather make the job as simple as can be.

No secret about it. Pull boat. Let the caked on crap dry completely.
Mix up Lysol Toilet bowl cleaner 40% to 60% peroxide in a yard sprayer.

Coat the bottom of the boat, then spray off with High Presure washer.

And if you didnt know Magic erasers will take off the rest. Walmart has 4 pack knock offs that work just the same.
