Just a thought. How long has the gas sat in the boat? Just read a recent article talking about how the ethanol in the gas can hydrolock a motor if it sits for a while. Im sure you can google the issue but the article I read was on Boattest.com. Hope it runs strong for you all summer. I just turned mine over yesterday and flushed it. Always love that sound..
Do you like the look of the boat, I haven't seen it on the water, it sure looks good on the trailer though, mine is sitting here all waxed and a full tank and I have been off all week and all it is doing is rain. There is another nova spyder that has the same color as mine but is smaller around us mine has the side exit exhaust stop and say hi.
The boat looks a hundred times better going down the river compared to last year.
Sorry to here about the rain, I've been gone all week (Jamaica)
The smaller Nova might be my buddy from N> Cumberland. His is the one that is across from Sea-mor's.
it has been a bad spring for the formula. some damage was done while it was in storage so it was at Nowak for the last two weeks getting fixed. it is done now so hopefully i will pick it up tomorrow and then my dad and i can start tearing into that motor. we are going to run a compression test first and then go from there. i'll keep you posted. looking forward to meeing up this summer.

I ended up pulling both 420's out of the 357, being they were both junk. Leaking exhaust manifolds were the main problem. Bored and stroked to 496 also. Going to roller cams and trying to decide on new exhaust. Hope to have them done soon, maybe come up your way this summer.
We sold our Fountain to a guy near Neville Island. I delivered it today before the rains came and ruined our nice weather. It's a 1990 29 Fever, I'm sure you guys will see it around, a new boat in town. I'm going to miss that boat, but too hard to keep two boats.
The water is nice here in Fredericktown, come down and have a few with us after we get this Formula back in the water.

It will all work out, at least you'll have good help. Let me know how it goes. I'm still waiting on my engines....and waiting....and waiting
Well.. even I am not immune to nagging problems. Put the boat in yesterday and had heating issues. So, its coming back out and starting with the impeller. Hopefully it will be back in by Chesney.
