Here are some cool photos I found while playing around on the internet.

Photo 1: Greater Pittsburgh Aquatic Club 1968 in its old location under the 79 bridge on Neville Island.

Photo 2: C&E Marina (now Midway Marina) Boat Ramp 1961.

Photo 3: Marina between the 7th and 8th Street Bridges in Pittsburgh 1955.

hey cool pictures... that was a LONG time ago! I was looking for the shark boat but didn't see it in any of these pictures.

My favorite parts of these pictures are...

If you look close you can see someone holding the guy thats pumping the gas in picture 3.

In the GPAC picture, I like the extention cord running down the dock for electric. This holds special meaning because we are replacing the electric on our docks right now at the GPAC an our old electric wasnt much more than an extention cord.

I wish I had more.

If anyone has any cool historic photos of river life in Pittsburgh. Please post them. I think this could get pretty cool.
