Because the cap-e-tan is a REBEL!
He goes for after bachlor party rides, in the rain rides, you name it..when most stay out of the water this rebel is Rollin'!
We named her "Miss Nauti" because "Naked Trucker Mudflap Girl" was too long to fit on the transom.......
Seriously, because as we were remodeling, my hubby who is a retired driver decided to incorporate a couple of those chrome trucker mudflap girls that he had from days gone by. She's not done yet, but I promise to post photos of the remodel before we head off to Alabama, including the girl on the bow....
After my wife wrecked her new motorcyle, she had a choice between a Boob Job or another new motorcycle. I told her she can't have either untill I get a new boat. She then chose the motorcycle.
So in honor of my wife, we name our new boat: "Her Boobs"
The nicest set of "Boobs" on the "Beaver" ---- River!
Two years ago I decided to buy a boat with a women I was seriously dating yet not living with or on the same checking account. We ended up getting engaged on the boat last Memorial Day and will soon be married. All of our friends say that our priorities are AssBackwards as we don't own a house nor are we married yet. So as a reminder to ourselves that we did it right, we named our boat AssBackwards in honor of keeping our priorities straight. LOL
I have always wanted a boat. I wanted to own one many, many years ago. Each and every time I would think this was the year I would get my boat, some family activity took my boat money!
I have two daughters that were involved in cheerleading and after school activities. There was music instruments to purchase, dance lessons, gymnastic lessons, and many dance and prom dresses to be bought. After high school I am proud to say, I put both of them through college. They have become very successful adults, which has made me very proud.
Each time I would think about owning a boat, I would always say Someday.
After my daughters married and moved from home, I could now afford a boat. I was in my late 50's and felt that I was getting to old to finally own a boat. My wife and family said nonsense. You have always wanted a boat and now it is your turn. I purchased my boat 3 years ago.
When trying to think of a name, it was easy. My "SOMEDAY CAME"
My Dad had a Bayliner With a 125 Force two cycle outboard. As I got older he basically lost interest and I kinda took over the boating pleasure on my own. Anyway, There was a cove where all the boats would raft for the day. When it was time to leave and I would start my boat the two cycle would smoke and lay just on top of the water, smoking everybody out. I always said if I had a boat of my own I would call it Smoke On The Water, plus the song is pretty cool too!
We are a couple in our late 20's when we bought our 24' Pontoon from Indian Lake, Ohio 2 years ago. Before we bought the boat, we had 2 waverunners and were planning on buying a boat the following summer. We were out on the Mon one day with a bunch of other couples and we were throwing around what everyone would name their boat if they had one. This was a stretch because everybody was either getting married in the near future, trying to buy a house or just started working. Since we were the only couple in our group of friends who already were married, had a house and had steady jobs, the next logical step would have been to have kids, but we used the excuse that everytime "baby talk" came up, we'd make a big purchase so we wouldn't be able to afford kids. One of our friends suggested that we name our boat "Cheaper Than Kids" and it instantly stuck.
