Reporter looking for long-distance boaters

I'm a reporter who is working on a story about people who take long-distance boat trips to/from Pittsburgh.

I know this isn't a story that you are looking for, but is there anyone at the PG that would be willing to do a story about how the city and the Regatta have excluded pretty much all of the pleasure boaters from any of the events this year? I know it is asking a lot, and is short notice, but if you read on here there are some pretty upset people about how we are being treated. Thanks so much.

Hi Greg - you're right, not my beat, but I've forwarded your email to my editor to see if he's interested in pursuing this. A couple other boaters voiced the same complaint.
