    Default Mojitos

Hey Heather...thanks for starting up the Women's perspective...

    Here's a shout out for the Mojito...and a short/sweet recipe.

You will need: lots of limes and fresh mint leaves, Light Rum-no dark or spiced (use Bacardi silver or Cruzan light), Club soda, ice and simple syrup (simple syrup is equal parts sugar/water-dissolve the sugar in the water over heat and store syrup in fridge-will last a few weeks, make in advance and store it)

Tall glass. (or a Dixie red or blue one)
    12 mint leaves in glass
    2 Tbsp. simple syrup
Muddle mint leaves (smoosh 'em with a spoon) in the ss.
1/2 lime, squeeze it into glass and toss it in.
1 1/2 oz. rum (or more if you're a drunk, excuse me, seasoned drinker or boater)
add ice, top with club soda.
Excellent sipping on really hot days (in excess of 80 degrees)

    Default Chocolate Martini

If anyone is near a Wegman's they sell a fantastic mix that you add vodka to and it tastes pretty good. Nothing compared to Tony's Big Easy at Penn State, but close.

we like to go a little more classy on our boat, with a 30 pack of IC Light. haha Support the Burgh!

Also Ice Picks have been a hit lately. Ice Tea and Vodka is great in the summer afternoon.

And there's the mackmosa.. but I don't even know what is in that.

    Default Naked Mackmosa

I'm thinking of kicking up the Mackmosa to a "Naked" Mackmosa. Since you can't google it, we'll just replace whatever orange juice she has in there to the Naked drink, maybe something with orange and mango etc.
I think they will make their debut at the BVYC Lobsterfest!
Stop by and request one if you're going

well the good news is you won't need much Naked drink since I don't think there is much orange juice in there

Today the Mikemosa made its first appearence on ESPN 2 for Mike and Mike in the Morning live from Pittsburgh. It consisted of the standard orange juice and champagne along with vodka and Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonade. Macko says easy on the OJ.
