    Default Marine Alarms

Due to recent events and request from the Boaters Meeting held at the Fox Chapel Yacht Club Team Nutz has developed Marine alarm packages to help protect your boat when you are not around.

    These options include:

Marine Alarms with siren and radar sensors for Cabins

Marine Alarm with siren and two radar sensors for Cabin and Cockpit

Marine Alarm with Monitoring service (Monitoring service to be available soon)

Marine Alarm w/ GPS Tracking. If the boat moves out of the range you pick, you will receive a call.

Stop by Team Nutz for more details.

    Thumbs down

I hope that your alarms work better than the one that was just installed at the marina that I dock at. When you walk by the boat, it goes off. If the marina gets waked, it goes off. It happened so much today that it reminded me of car alarms in the city. When they would go off, people tend to ignore them. Right now, this particular alarm is rather annoying. Hopefully it won't keep up all night tonight. If it does, on particular boat may just happen to have a dead battery by the end of the night.

I haven't been on here for some time. All alarms have a sensitivity adjustment. And your correct most people ignore them. We like to show our customers how to adjust there alarms because unfortunately we can not be there all the time to adjust sensitivity up or down. Sometimes our settings work, but a day later it may be to much for a busy day at the marina.

Hopefully it was not the system we installed, again this is why we showed him how to adjust the system to make sure it covers what he is looking for. If it was not and you have this problem again this year, let me know so I can see if we can help him with other solutions.

    Thanks,
    Ed
