broke upper alpha drive help

hello all, i was out over the weekend and hit a log or something in the river and broke a piece of the upper drive on my 202 islander, i attached a pic of the approx area. is this something i can have fixed or should i replace the upper?....thanks, ted

Looks like you broke the cavitation plate. Should be repairable. Your insurance should buy a new upper case, though.

I have done the same on the other corner. It has run fine for 2 years without it.
