There are alot of options out there in that range. Dont limit yourself to just looking at local boats. Go on some of the bigger websites like Offshoreonly.com or Speedwake.com or Seriousoffshore.com . Most of these places have used boats or new ones for sale. You can also go through the links for dealers themselves like Shogrens, Aqua Toy Store, Pier 57, etc.. What you get is all in what you want to do and how much you want to spend. The other option you have is do you want a new one or buy an older "classic" model? Good luck on your search and ask as many questions as possible to find info on each boat.
I'm not sure if it will help. The first go fast has only 58 hours.
I'm not sure about the reputations of these companies. If anyone has had experiences with repo companies or the "usual" condition of the boats, please chime in. I imagine a certain amount of boats are poorly maintained. I guess one can hope for a diamond in the rough.
There are currently three formula 292 fastech's out there brand new reposessed boats. Never been in the water, under 100,000. Two 2008, and one 2009. All boats are loaded up. One has this really wild nuclear reactor paint job that costs over 14,000.
If interested, please pm me and i will give you the links.
Just got back from Lake Havasu in Arizona over Thanksgiving for first time ever. Trying to figure out why I came back. Go fasts are everywhere there. Their pontoon boats have 454's in them at the least. If you can't find something locally, I would look there or California as they get something like 300 days of sun a year. Their boats are polished and ran often.
I didn't see one that didn't catch my eye whether it was in the water or on land. If you don't have a tri-axle trailer there, you don't belong basically.
sorry guys let me reword, I sold my 2005 baja 202 Islander and purchased a 2006 Nordic 25' Rage 496 425hp, I dont think I will be able to make it through the winter, its goin to be a long one......ted
nice Nordic. You dont see many of them around here so that will standout. Especially with the mid cabin. Look forward to seeing it on the river this summer. Hopefully I can sell my baja quickly. Got a couple big ideas ive been keeping tabs on.
Thanks buddy, I really like the mid cabin, plus couldnt convince and of my friends or family that a regular cabin boat would work.........what pool do you boat in?
I boat in the main pool. I currently have an 88 Baja 240 Sport named Roll With It. its been a good boat and Ive had alot of fun with it but have been itching to go bigger and faster. There is a 37 Active Thunder in Fla Im interested in and a 38 Cigarette in California thats another good buy. Next boat has to have a toilet, sink, fridge etc... and be able to hit 80 mph.
