    Default Air Conditioning

Hey Everyone. I upgraded to a Bayliner 2452 the end of last summer and I love the boat but it is missing one thing. Air conditioning. So, I'm looking for information, suggestions, etc on what my options are. I would be fine with a portable hatch unit but haven't been able to find one anywhere, new or used. Anyone have any ideas? Also what about having a central unit installed? The cabin is not huge so that may be overdoing it and expensive. Know anyone selling a hatch unit? Any other ideas? Let it rip I need info and ideas.

    Thanks,
    captainEZ

Marine reverse cycle air is the best. It's not cheap, but it's easy to install and you can use it for some heat during the fall.

I too am considering air conditioning. I am not crazy about a hatch unit. Has anyone considered or tried a home type portable air conditioner or maybe a small home window air conditioner. They only cost about a hundred bucks. I have a window in the berth that opens to the back, water could run to the normal rain drain. The portables units have vents that could go out a window. Any thoughts?
