I came across this link on another forum. This company has some adult life vests on sale for $9.99 and kids vests even cheaper. There is a $25.00 min order and a shipping charge but It's still pretty cheap.
I saw this post the other day and checked the web-site. It seems the sale is still going on. Makes me ask the question "Are these life jackets good"? I'm thinking about ordering a couple but just not sure. Did you purchase any?
I did purchase three of them. They are an adult universal vest, so one size fits all. Obviously if you are a bigger person, the vest won't fit you as well. They would be best for having on board to be legal. I'm not sure if they would work well with watersports, etc.
I needed three to replace old ones on the boat. These work great for me.
JohnnyM, thanks for the info. I was looking into it for exactly the same reason. Need to be legal in case I have a few extra people and get checked. Not that I have a problem with getting checked, it's just that this is something not to be messed with.
