HD Waterproof Video Camera

My new GoPro HD waterproof video camera just showed up in the mail!

I can't wait to try this thing out. It has tape that sticks the camera to your helmet, wakeboard or boat. I posted some sample footage at http://www.wakeboardpittsburgh.com

I just hope it stays attached...

Hey that is awesome! If it were me, the tape may hold the camera where I wanted it to be, but some other kind of lanyard or cable would be on there as a backup Esp for as much as I smash into the water unexpectedly.

Does it float? If it does come off, any plans on how to find it in the water?

True, although everybody wrecks They just do it learning a much harder trick than I can even think up.

No, it does not float, but a lot of people have been testing it to see how much it takes to come off. One group had it on their helmet while barefooting at 42 mph, and then they were faceplanting on purpose. It never fell off.

JZelt, the falls do get easier as you ride more, but every once in a while everyone gets worked.

Thats a great idea. Sky Ski back flip from the helmet cam would look awesome.
