Lake Milton Ohio Wakeboard Contest - June 19th

On Saturday, June 19, the Waters Edge Boardshop will be hosting a wakeboard contest on Lake Milton Ohio. This is a grassroots competition with most of the riders in the Beginner/Intermediate category. Last year less than 5% of the people there could throw flips/spins.

Lake Milton is only an hour Northwest of Pittsburgh and this is the closest wakeboard tournament all summer. These things are a fun way to meet other wakeboarders and to test your skills. Once you wakeboard in a competition (which is pretty high pressure) you will be a lot more relaxed riding at home and you will be more willing to try new things behind the wake (because you just saw 50 other people trying it).

We saw about 3 tow boats out there on our way back from KY houseboat trip. Many turnout? Unfortunately, no one was going as we were crossing.
