    Default New Outdrive

Anyone know someone local (I would assume they would need to be a merc dealer) that would have or would order me a new Bravo 3 outdrive? I've called almost every marina in the area and either they won't or can't do it, or just won't return my phone calls.... I know it's the busy time of year, but you would think someone would want to make a $5,000 sale....

Did you try Outboard Haven in Verona or O'Hara Landing in Blawnox?

If that doesn't work and you don't mind a short drive, try Frank's Marine in Berlin Center, Ohio. He deals with hot boats as well as pontoons, but I can't imagine he couldn't or wouldn't get you one.

Why not go online if no one wants to make a buck locally? No affiliation, but I have read reviews that people are happy with this site and should save you some coin.

Have had good service and quick shipping from this outfit.
I bought a new engine and a buddy bought a Brovo III from them.

I have boated on Lake Erie and in Pittsburgh...repair places...as crazy as it sounds...mostly (read not all) think they are doing you a favor by working on your boat...I had a great repair place in Mentor, Ohio....I even paid him come here becasue I was so frustrated with the repair places in this area...just one guys opinion...

Thanks everyone! Those sites were EXACTLY what I needed! For some reason I couldn't find any online place that sold the whole drive, only the upper and lower pieces. dougrussell.com was more than willing to take my 4 grand and send me a new drive. I have found the marinas around here to be a bit disappointing as well.. not just the non-returned phone calls or simply no one answering the phone, but I've taken my boat places to have work done and they tell you it'll take them a week to do the job and once you take the boat there and they start, they don't have it done for a month. (Drives me nuts) which is why I've decided I will be the ONLY person working on my boat from now on...
