    Default Carp in a row

Do any of the fishermen/women on the site know why carp would be lined up in a row at different levels in the water, absolutely still and facing up stream? We've noticed this occurring for the last couple of weeks.

in the fall they always doo that you will see the bigger ones a little deeper
they do school up and move shallow (usually in creeks)
not sure when they spawn probably getting ready to anyway
if you get the right bait infront of them that is fantastic times.
    hope this helped

    bkpusuit,
chances are if you goto the same place the same time of the year you will see them at it again.

if you wana see something neat find a mulberry bush over deeper water (a few feet)along the shore
this time of the year till fall the carp find these spots. they hang out in the shade and eat the berries that fall into the water
they really dont spook when you come in as long as your moter aint too loud.
i discovered this when i was a kid fishing the ohio and grabbed some berries and wow nonstop action
its kinda cool to drop them into the water and watch the fish grab em up
